Day 1: Transfer to Bukavu

Your guide will meet you at 8:00am for a warm welcome and introduction. Begin your journey with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial for a 2-hour tour, gaining insight into Rwanda's history.

Afterward, embark on a scenic 6–7-hour drive to Bukavu with scheduled stops for snacks and bathroom breaks. At the border, your guide will assist with documentation for a seamless transition into Congo. Upon arrival at your lodge, enjoy a relaxing evening with dinner and a trek briefing.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking at Kahuzi-Biéga National Park

Rise early for breakfast at 6:00am before departing for Kahuzi-Biéga National Park. The trek begins after a briefing from park officials and can take 3-4 hours, depending on the gorillas' location. Spend a magical hour observing the majestic lowland gorillas in their natural habitat.

Return to your lodge in the afternoon to relax and enjoy a BBQ dinner.

Day 3: Tour of Nyanza King’s Palace & Transfer to Kigali
