Day 1: Genocide Memorial Tour and Transfer to Nyungwe National Park

Begin your journey with a pick-up from your Kigali accommodation at 9:00 am. Enjoy a Kigali city tour, including the Kigali Genocide Memorial, where you’ll reflect on Rwanda’s poignant history. Afterward, transfer to Nyungwe National Park and check into your guest house. Over dinner, your guide will brief you about the following day’s chimpanzee trek.

Day 2: Chimp Trek, Canopy Walk, and Transfer to Bukavu

Rise early and enjoy breakfast before heading to Nyungwe National Park for a guided chimpanzee trek (2-3 hours). After the trek, take part in a canopy walk, offering breathtaking views of the forest.

Later, transfer to Bukavu in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Your guide will assist with border documentation before you check into your hotel. During dinner, the guide will brief you about the next day's gorilla trek.

Afterward, return to your hotel for a BBQ dinner and a relaxing evening.
